March 3, 2008: Insolvency Law in Practice
On Monday 3 March 2008, Prime Minister Mirek Topolánek will attend an event organized by the Ministry of Justice under the title Insolvency Law in Practice. The objective of the event is to review the two months of the functioning of the new insolvency law.
Program:
10:00 – Visit to the Counseling Center for People with Financial Problems, where Prime Minister M. Topolánek and Minister of Justice J. Pospíšil will debate with representatives of the center and one debtor who has used the facility's services. There will be an opportunity for journalists to ask questions.

10:30 – Visit to the Prague Regional Court where the insolvency register system will be presented on the court's computers.
11:15 – Press conference assessing the functioning of the new insolvency law and the debtor register, presenting statistical data, and explaining the most frequent mistakes made by people who make applications for eradication of their debt. The press conference will be attended by Prime Minister Mirek Topolánek, Minister of Justice Jiří Pospíšil, and representatives of the Prague Regional Court.
