Meeting of Czech Government
The Government of the Czech Republic will meet on Wednesday, 17th of January, 2007, starting at 9:00 a.m., in the building of its Office at Nábřeží E. Beneše, Prague 1.
The agenda will include inter alia the discussion of the following documents: Draft Programme Statement of the Government; Bill on Government Obligations Programme, as regards its provisions designed to defray a part of the envisaged deficit of the Czech Republic’s Budget for 2007; Bill on Government Obligations Programme, regarding its provisions designed to defray the principals of medium- and long-term government obligations traded away from the market in 2007; proposal to send a field hospital – Role 2E of the Czech Army, to join the ISAF structures in Afghanistan; and the Final Recommendation of the Gender Equality Committee (controlling body of the respective Convention), designed to remove all sorts of discrimination against women. The Government will also be informed e.g. about the results of the analysis of inevitability of restraining economic competition, ensuing from the valid legislation applied to the freelance (self-employed) sector in the Czech Republic, and the status of observance of medium- and long-term measures in the Czech highway system, with particular emphasis on the D1 motorway.
