Czech Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka met with Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Keqiang in Belgrade on 16 December 2014. The meeting took place as part of China's initiative toward 16 countries of Central, Eastern, and South Eastern Europe held in Belgrade.

On Tuesday 9 December 2014, the prime ministers of the member states of the Visegrad group and the President of the Swiss Confederation, Didier Burkhalter met in Bratislava. The group meeting primarily focused on discussions on energy security, competitiveness and the situation in Ukraine.

On Monday 8 December 2014, Czech Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka met with the President of the Federal Council of the Republic of Austria, Ana Blatnik. The President of the Upper Chamber of the Austrian parliament arrived in the CR at the invitation of the President of the Czech Senate, Milan Štěch.
