Visit to the Zlín Region
Between June 28 and 29, 2007, Prime Minister Mirek Topolánek of the Czech Republic will be on a working visit to the Zlín Region.
On Thursday afternoon the Premier will be greeted by the Zlín Regional Commissioner and then they will jointly attend a meeting of the Zlín Regional Council in the Regional Authority´s headquarters. This will be followed by a visit to the Ba?a skyscraper and a meeting with journalists. In the afternoon the Prime Minister will be joined by the famous Czech traveller Miroslav Zikmund and see a permanent exhibition entitled “Across Five Continents with Zikmund and Hanzelka“.
On his arrival in Velehrad, the Czech Prime Minister will meet officials of the organizations providing social services for talks on the subject “Aspects of the reform of public finances in the social sector“. Mirek Topolánek will then leave for Luhaèovice for a meeting with the officials of the local public life to be held in the evening.
On the second day of his visit the Czech Premier will visit the second elementary school at Holešov in the morning where he will give out school reports to first-formers and then he will see the Holešov industrial zone. After returning to Zlín, the Premier will meet the management of the Tomáš Ba?a University. He will also attend a graduation ceremony at the university.
The Prime Minister will wind up his visit to the Zlín Region in the Ba?a Villa where he will meet local public administration officials.
