October 15, 2008: Czech Government Meeting;Press Conference at 11:00 a.m.

Meeting on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at 9:00 a.m., the members of the Government of the Czech Republic will be discussing, among other issues, the following items: 
- information on the implementation of the state budget of the Czech Republic for the first to third quarter of 2008; 
- draft amendment to the Act on the protection of the country´s farmland fund; 
- draft amendment to the Foreign Currency Act; 
- draft amendment to the Act on the Office for State Representation in Property Matters;
- private members´ draft amendment to the Civil Code;
- a project supporting minor branches of study at the Faculty of Philosophy of Charles University in Prague;
- plan of activities and budget for the Administration of Radioactive Waste Depositories for 2009, a three-year plan and long-term plan;
- report on the implementation of a pilot project “Selection of Qualified Foreign Workers“ in the years 2003-2008 and proposal for other changes.
