Meeting of the Czech Government

The Government will discuss, among other topics, the following documents: Draft State Closing Account of the Czech Republic for 2006, Bill changing the Act on bankruptcy and modes of its solution (Insolvency Act), and some laws connected with its adoption, Report on the fulfillment of obligations ensuing from the Conclusion of the Melk Process and its follow-up measures in 2006, Draft Regulation of the Government on emission limits and other conditions for the operation of stationary incinerating sources of air pollution, Proposal to reduce the number of employees in state administration authorities up to 2010 by at least 3% a year, Comprehensive analysis of the Czech Republic’s intention to take over leading role in the PRT in Afghanistan within the framework of the NATO ISAF operation and draft recommendation, and Summary report on the implementation of the Action Plan of the National Strategy for Anti-drug Policy for the period 2005-2006.The Government will also be briefed, among other topics, on the Completion of the preparations of the Police of the Czech Republic for full involvement in Schengenské cooperation.
