December 12, 2007: Government Meeting, Press Conference at 2:00 p.m.

Members of the Government will meet on Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at 9 a.m. to discuss, among other issues, the following items:

 draft amendment of the Electronic Communications Act;

 Bill on Human Tissues and Cells;

 draft amendment of the Road Tax Act;

 draft changes to the Government Regulation on stipulation of some of the terms for payments for the cultivation of energy crops;

 draft changes to the Government Regulation on the salaries of professional servicemen;

 Government Regulation laying down a scale of basic tariffs for members of security corps for 2008;

 legislative, technical and organizational measures to simplify and streamline the system of protecting classified information and security clearings in the Czech Republic;

 evaluation of the effects of the Czech Republic’s Transport Policy for the years 2005-2013;

 analysis of possible involvement of municipalities in the decision-making process on the location of a deep nuclear waste disposal site.
