3 December 2015: Summit of V4 Prime Ministers plus the President of the Republic of Korea

On 3 December 2015, Prague will host a summit of Visegrad Group Prime Ministers, which the President of the Republic of Korea will attend as a guest. The summit is being held by the Czech Republic as part of its V4 presidency.

Czech Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and Polish Prime Minister Beata Szydło will discuss matters such as preparations for the December European Council, migration issues and the formation of the Energy Union. They will then engage in talks with South Korean President Park Geun-hye on mutual relations between the European Union and South Korea.

1:00 p.m. – photo-op on the delegation’s arrival at Czernin Palace

2:40 p.m. – family photo of V4 Prime Ministers and the President of the Republic of Korea

2:45 p.m. – photo-op at the beginning of the meeting

followed by – Summit of the Prime Ministers of V4 Member States and the President of the Republic of Korea

4:15 p.m. – press conference attended by the V4 Prime Ministers and the South Korean President

subsequently – opportunity for comments

Accreditation required by 3:00 p.m. on Friday 27 November 2015 – applications in writing only to akreditace@vlada.cz. Please attach the enclosed accreditation form to your email.

Only those who request accreditation by the above deadline will accredited. Subsequent accreditation requests will be disregarded.

Media arrival time: We ask that TV crews and photographers arrive between 11:30 and 12:00 for the photo opportunities.

Those covering only the press conference to come as follows: TV crew + photo - 15:00 to 15:15, writing staff - 15:15 to do15:30.

Building access: Journalists come in through the service entrance (first from Loretánská street). You must present your press pass and ID card or passport.

Parking for accredited SNG vehicles: Space reserved at the back of the car park (turning loop at the front of the Černínský Palace; Loretánské nám. 5, Prague 1). For SNG vehicles see eearlier.

Photo opportunities:

Only 1 cameraman and 1 official photographer per country will be allowed at photo opportunities.

Access for all media will be allowed for the “family photo” and the press conference.

A press room has been prepared for all media representatives; a wi-fi network and refreshments will be available.

Interpreting services: The press conference will be interpreted into Czech, English, Korean, Polish and Hungarian.
