Prime Minister Petr Fiala held talks with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen
Prime Minister Petr Fiala met with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen at the Kramář Villa on Tuesday, 2 May 2023. Together they discussed energy projects, but also major current international issues.
The topics of the meeting between Prime Minister Petr Fiala and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen included current key topics of European and global politics, but also areas that directly concern the Czech Republic. “We mainly dealt with energy projects and the National Recovery Plan, through which we intend to increase the Czech Republic's energy self-sufficiency,” said Prime Minister Fiala.
After her meeting with Prime Minister Fiala, Ursula von der Leyen went to Prague Castle to meet with Czech President Petr Pavel.
