Office of the Government continues consultations on the National Reform Programme
On 25 March 2013, the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic, which is responsible for Europe 2020 Strategy implementation, organized an informal round table discussion in the Liechtenstein Palace on the preparation of the National Reform Programme for 2013. The event represents a next step in the process of broad and inclusive consultations led since December 2012 with the aim of engaging in discussion on the National Reform Programme the widest possible range of stakeholders. Representatives of the Office of the Government and the respective line Ministries discussed the first consolidated version of the National Reform Programme with the representatives of both chambers of the Parliament, partners of economic and social dialogue, representatives of the National Economic Council, academic and the non-governmental sector. The representatives of the European Commission, regional and local authorities were also involved. The outcomes of the discussion will serve as inputs for the completion of the National Reform Programme. The final version of the document will be sent to the European Commission by mid-April after being approved by the Government Committee on EU and following a discussion in the Tripartite EU Working Team.
