On the eve of the European Council meeting, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš met with Czechs working in EU institutions. The meeting was attended by more than a hundred of Czech officials who work in the European Commission, the European Parliament, the Council and other institutions.

Prime Minister Andrej Babiš met with David Davis, the British Brexit Secretary

On Wednesday, 14 March, Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, Andrej Babiš, met with the Minister for the UK's exist from the EU, David Davis. The meeting followed up previous bilateral consultations of the premier with Michel Barnier who is the chief negotiator for the EU-27 member states.

The Czech Prime Minister talked to European leaders about the EU budget and election of a new Chairman of the European Commission

On Friday, 23rd February, the Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš took part in an informal meeting of the European Council in Brussels. He met with other Europe´s leaders to discuss a method of election of a new Chairman of the European Commission or reduction of the number of members of the European Parliament after Brexit. At the summit in Brussels the Czech Prime Minister also met with the French President Emmanuel Macron and the Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz.

During his official visit to Hungary, Babiš discussed the development of transport connections and mutual trade

Prime Minister Andrej Babiš started his official visit to Hungary on Friday 26 January 2018. During the day, he met with President János Áder and Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. He also attended a summit of the prime ministers of the Visegrad Group countries, and discussed with Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.

Prime ministers discuss the future of the EU, the budget and migration policy in a V4 summit

Prime Minister Andrej Babiš attended, on his visit to Hungary, a summit of prime ministers of the Visegrad Group countries. The main topic was the future of the European Union, the Multi-annual Financial Framework, and preparation for the February meeting of the European Council in Brussels. Later, he also met with the new Prime Minister of the Polish Republic Mateusz Morawiecki.

Premier Babiš: The World Economic Forum in Davos is a great and efficiently spent time

On Thursday 25 January 2018, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš took part in the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. During two panel discussions with premiers, presidents, politicians from all over the world, EU commissioners and representatives of international organisations, he was debating an efficient reform of the European Union and its further direction. He met most of the European premiers and had bilateral talks with premiers of Luxembourg, Portugal, Estonia, Israel and the Chairman of the UN General Assembly.
