16 January 2020: PM Andrej Babiš welcomes prime ministers of V4 countries and Austria
On Thursday, 16 January 2020, Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš will be holding talks with the prime ministers of the Visegrad Group and the Federal Chancellor of Austria at the National Museum. The V4-Austria summit will focus on current European Union issues.

The country of the future for 11 million people
On 16 December 2019 the Government discussed the National Investment Plan, which presents the investment potential of the Czech Republic until 2050. It assumes nearly 20,000 project plans with a total value of approximately CZK 8 trillion. The Plan was prepared in such a way that the projects included in it would have a positive social benefit and at the same time be financially effective and, last but not least, meet the strategic objectives of the Czech Republic.

On 12 and 13 December 2019, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš attended the European Council and the Euro Summit in Brussels. The main topics discussed were climate change, the multi-annual financial framework, the European Union's external relations, the deepening of economic and monetary union and Brexit.

Prime Minister Andrej Babiš attends climate summit in Madrid. Accompanied by Minister of the Environment Richard Brabec, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš flew to the 25th United Nations Climate Summit, which takes place from 2 to 19 December 2019. At the summit, both members of the government presented goals for climate activities. Many representatives of European countries have expressed their desire for Europe to become the first climate-neutral continent.

On Tuesday, 19 November, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš met Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski and Ukrainian Prime Minister Oleksiy Hančaruk on a working trip to Ukraine. He assured both politicians that the Czech Republic supports the territorial integrity of Ukraine, its reform process and condemns Russian aggression in the east of the country and the illegal annexation of Crimea.

Prime Minister Babiš celebrates 30th anniversary of November Revolution with V4 colleagues, and calls in his speech for discussions free from anger
On Sunday 17 November 2019, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš commemorated the thirtieth anniversary of the Velvet Revolution, along with the Prime Ministers of the Visegrad Four countries and other prominent guests. He laid a wreath on Národní třída, gave a speech at a ceremonial gathering at the National Museum and, after a gala luncheon at the Kramář Villa, also visited the November anniversary celebrations in Bratislava.
