The Prime Ministers of the Czech Republic and the Republic of Poland signed an agreement to address the impacts of mining activities at the Turów mine
Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala received Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the Kramář Villa on Thursday, 3 February 2022. At their first meeting, the two statesmen discussed Czech-Polish relations and signed an interstate agreement on dealing with the impacts of mining activities at the Turów open-pit mine.

With it, the cabinet wants to ask the Chamber of Deputies for confidence on Wednesday, 12 January.

On Monday, 3 January, Prime Minister Petr Fiala inducted Zdeněk Nekula into the cabinet as Minister of Agriculture. It happened tens of minutes after Zdeněk Nekula was appointed Minister of Agriculture by President Miloš Zeman.

After the first meeting of the Government on Friday, 17 December 2021, Prime Minister Petr Fiala inducted seven Government members into their offices. On Saturday, 18 December, he inaugurated another nine, including three ministers without portfolio, who will be based in the Office of the Government.
